We have Faslane on our land in West of Scotland.
It doesnt look to me like that could move any time soon....
And there are only a few deep water ports for nuclear submarines and I think they are all in Scotland...
Is Nuclear essential to keep balance of power and peace worldwide ?
Or is it just too dangerous ? I have read of at least two cases which have come to light recently from the past where nuclear weapons came very close to being fired. In the case from Russia, it was down to one man who decided not to believe what the computers were telling him (turned out to be correct to do that) and refused to fire a weapon. And there was a case from America where a weapon could easily have gone off by mistake but some component failed. And another with bombs that had been dropped in Spain ....

But ... to get back to the main discussion.
The SNP have made it clear it does not want a nuclear future for Scotland.
I imagine most people would like a nuclear weapon free world.
But...is that possible or pragmatic ?
