And at 20th April - this does not look too promising - an unelected Tory Peer with no experience of the fishing industry... this is a major industry - not a plaything for a Tory trainee to practise negotiating skills !! Shame we lost the MEP Lib Dem Ross Finnie - who did well for Agriculture in Scotland - could he have represented us on this ?

In previous negotiations Scottish major fishing industry was let down - the days of the Cod Crusaders - let down by Ben Bradshaw of Labour
And more recently, the Dutch and Spanish contingents actually came across at end of negotiations to sympathise with the Scottish Fishermen....
